Most people think their freedom is in proportion to their being able to do what they want to do.  For most people, this freedom is defined materially and has to do with wealth, meaning, the more money I have, the freer I am.  For many others, their freedom means lack of obligation or commitments to other people.  Both views are radically wrong.  The deepest freedom is found by letting go of self, and living to help other people, which is what love does.
